As a large business, our annual water consumption is significant. However, we are dedicated to maximising sustainability and minimising our environmental impact wherever possible.

We can store 30 million gallons of water on the farm.

We use a mixture of dyke water abstracted in the winter, mixed with the yard, roof and water treatment plant water from the factory.

50% of our water usage at our Holbeach Hurn site is recycled.

We have soil moisture probes in the fields. These measure the soil moisture deficit so we can target the right fields at the right time and limit the waste of water.

We tend to use boom irrigators rather than guns, as you get less water lost to evaporation and is less effected by the wind. These means we get more even coverage across the field.
